The base fabric is a polyester lycra called Cairo, weighing 220 gr/m2. The plain printed color is a blend of orange and yellow-orange with a CMYK of 0 32 74 0. This color exudes energy and vitality, making it an ideal choice for sportswear or swimwear. Furthermore, it pairs perfectly with neutral tones like white or black, as well as with shades close to yellow.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that this is not a dyed fabric but a single-sided printed fabric.
The characteristics of the base fabric include a soft and elastic texture, making it ideal for garments that require flexibility and comfort in use. Additionally, it features a chlorine-resistant finish and high UV protection (UPF 50+), making it ideal for swimwear, both bikini and one-piece styles.
The Cairo polyester lycra fabric is ideal for sportswear (for women, men, and children), as well as for underwear, bras or bralettes, knitwear, and tops. It can also be used for accessories like scrunchies.
Regarding care instructions, it is recommended not to use bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene. Additionally, it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature and not to tumble dry.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process uses digital technology that allows a printed image to be transferred to the fabric through the combined action of heat and pressure. This ensures that the dye adheres to the fabric surface, achieving high quality and durability of the print.
