Description

The base fabric of this textile is a Polyester Lycra, known as Cairo, which has a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its composition is 90% POLYESTER and 10% ELASTANE, making it elastic and soft to the touch. The solid color printed on this fabric is Spanish Orange, expressed through the CMYK color code 8 60 100 1, where yellow ink predominates, followed by magenta, and a small amount of cyan and black. This color conveys vitality and energy, and combines especially well with neutral tones, such as white and gray.

It is worth mentioning that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The general characteristics of the base fabric are that it is elastic and soft to the touch, in addition to having a chlorine-resistant finish and offering very high UV protection of 50+.

Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, we find several options, such as its use in sportswear and swimwear, for both men and women, as well as in lingerie, bodysuits and bras/bralettes. It can also be used in knitwear and tops and, more specifically, in scrunchies, which opens up possibilities for accessories.

It is important to take into account certain care instructions for this fabric, such as not bleaching it, washing it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not using trichloroethylene for dry cleaning, ironing it at a cool temperature, and avoiding tumble drying.

Finally, the printing technology used to make this fabric possible is sublimation (polyester), which allows the design to be transferred to the fabric in a sharp and detailed way, resulting in vibrant and long-lasting colors on the fabric.
