The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra called Cairo, weighing 220 gr/m2, composed of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. The solid printed color is a vibrant ginger yellow with a CMYK ink content of 2 Cyan, 11 Magenta, 75 Yellow, and 0 Black. This secondary color is fresh, bright, and full of energy, making it an excellent choice for fashion and athletic wear. Ginger color pairs particularly well with other warm colors like red, orange, and green, as well as neutrals like white, gray, and black.
Its important to note that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing. Digital textile printing is a printing technique used to produce custom fabrics from digital designs. It is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side, which means the printed color only affects one side of the fabric.
The Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2 is an elastic and soft-to-the-touch fabric, making it perfect for sportswear, lingerie, and fashion. Additionally, it features a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+, making it an excellent choice for swimwear. The fabric has a width of 150 cm and a grammage of 220 gr/m2, which makes it more resistant and durable than other lycra fabrics.
The applications and uses of this fabric are quite broad, ranging from sportswear and swimwear to lingerie, tops, and even more creative items like scrunchies. Thanks to its elasticity and durability, the fabric is ideal for knitwear, but it also works well in more structured garments.
To maintain the quality and lifespan of the fabric, it is important to follow the care instructions. It is recommended not to bleach the fabric, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at a cool temperature, and avoid tumble drying. The fabric allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene.
Regarding the printing technology used to create this fabric, it is sublimation (polyester). Sublimation is a printing technique that uses special inks and a heat process to permanently transfer designs to the fabric. This technique offers sharp and durable results, and is ideal for polyester fabrics such as Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2.
