The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra - Cairo with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is a Pastel Yellow, with a CMYK of 6 0 51 0. This secondary color evokes the energy of the Sun and the joy of summer. Yellow is an excellent choice to stand out in any sportswear or swimwear. It combines very well with darker shades, such as black or grey, and vibrant colors, such as pink or red.
It is important to note that the base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing. This technique allows for greater color fidelity, ensuring that the shade is uniform and resistant to washing and rubbing. Polyester Lycra stands out for its elastic characteristics, pleasant feel, and chlorine resistance, making it ideal for sportswear and swimwear. In addition, it has a Very High UV Protection Factor 50+, which guarantees exceptional protection against ultraviolet rays.
The base fabric can be used in multiple applications, such as sportswear and swimwear for women, men, and children, lingerie, bras, swimsuits, tops, and scrunchies. Some of the fabrics characteristics are its elastic texture and soft feel, which makes it a comfortable and flexible fabric for sportswear and swimwear. It is also chlorine resistant, which guarantees its durability and prolonged use. The fabrics applications and uses are varied and wide, making it an ideal option for any garment that requires an elastic, resistant, and comfortable material.
Caring for the base fabric is simple. It is important not to bleach it and not to use a tumble dryer, in addition to maintaining a maximum temperature of 40ºC when washing it. It is recommended to iron it at a cool temperature and, if necessary, dry clean it.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation. In this technique, ink is applied to transfer paper and heated to high temperatures so that the ink turns into gas and penetrates the fabric fiber. This process allows the ink to be permanently fixed to the fabric, which guarantees its resistance to washing and rubbing.
