Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2

The base fabric of this textile is a Polyester Lycra called Cairo, weighing 220 gr/m2. It features a solid color printed in raspberry red tones, with a CMYK of 0 96 53 0. This secondary color carries symbolism that conveys passion, energy, and vitality, making it ideal for sportswear or swimwear. Furthermore, it pairs perfectly with white, black, yellow, or green tones.

It is important to note that the solid color is printed on one side only using digital textile printing, meaning that only one side of the fabric has the color printed; it is not a dyed fabric.

Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, it is elastic and soft to the touch, with chlorine resistance and excellent very high UV protection (50+ UPF). Moreover, the printed color has a bright and durable finish.

Applications and uses for this fabric include sportswear, intimate apparel, womens and mens fashion, as well as swimwear such as bikinis and swimming costumes. Polyester Lycra is a breathable and comfortable fabric, ideal for body-hugging garments.

For care, it is recommended to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC without bleaching. It can be ironed at a cool temperature and dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. It should not be tumble dried.

Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation. This involves using transfer paper where the design is printed in reverse with special inks. Subsequently, the design is transferred from the paper to the fabric using heat and pressure, resulting in a durable and high-quality print.
