The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra - Cairo weighing 220 gr/m2, with a width of 150 cm and a composition of 90% Polyester and 10% Elastane. The solid printed color is in shades of Grey and DimGray, with a combination of Cyan (55), Magenta (45), Yellow (44), and Black (31) inks resulting in a CMYK of 55 45 44 31.
This secondary color conveys elegance and sobriety; its a shade associated with a minimalist and modern style. It pairs very well with warmer colors like Red and Orange, as well as lighter shades like White or Beige.
The fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side, meaning its not a dyed fabric but rather printed on one side. Its general characteristics include an elastic and soft texture, chlorine resistance, and very high UV protection 50+. Furthermore, its composition and grammage make it ideal for sports applications such as swimwear, bikinis, bathing suits, and general sportswear. It also adapts very well to the manufacturing of lingerie, bras, and bodysuits, as well as general fashion, in knitwear and tops.
For care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry. Dry cleaning is permitted, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process by which the design is printed on special transfer paper and then transferred to the fabric through the action of heat and pressure. This technique achieves vibrant, high-quality colors that do not fade over time or with washing.
