The base fabric, Polyester Lycra - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2, is a type of Lycra composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. It has a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is Cherry Red, characterized by a CMYK of 22 96 22 6, meaning it has a high magenta content that gives it an intense and deep red. This color harmonizes well with other shades such as white, which is elegant and luminous; black, which contrasts with its intensity; and gold, which enhances its elegant and sophisticated character.
The fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side, which gives the fabric great versatility and print quality. The general characteristics of the base fabric are its elastic texture and feel, and its high resistance to chlorine and very high UV protection 50+. In addition, its elasticity makes it ideal for close-fitting garments, such as lingerie, bodysuits, bikinis, leggings, and leotards, as well as swimwear.
Regarding care, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC without using bleach and without tumble drying. It also allows dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene and should be ironed at a cool temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring ink from paper to fabric using heat and pressure, resulting in a sharp and durable print that is resistant to washing and rubbing.
