The base fabric of this textile is a Polyester Lycra called Nairobi, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its composition is 82% POLYESTER and 18% ELASTANE, which gives it great elasticity and comfort to the touch. The secondary color of the fabric is a Blush Pink, reflecting in its CMYK a combination of soft and warm tones. This color combines perfectly with white, grey, black, and pastel shades, making it ideal for soft and delicate garments. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with a solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which gives the color great sharpness and detail.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, we highlight its great elasticity and its resistance to chlorine, providing greater durability in swimwear and sportswear. In addition, it has a very high UV protection factor UPF 50+, offering optimal protection against UV rays. Regarding the printed solid color, we highlight its texture, which provides a soft and pleasant look and feel, combined with a resistant finish for greater durability.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, we highlight its use in lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear, and swimwear such as swimsuits and bikinis for men, women, and children. In addition, it can be used for making sports tights and leggings, as well as in swimwear fashion, particularly for the spring and summer season.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at maximum temperatures of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene, and it should be ironed at a cool temperature. It is also important to note that it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This high-quality printing technique is carried out by transferring the pigments directly onto the fabric, resulting in a print with great definition and detail.
