Polyester Lycra - Nairobi 270 gr/m2

The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2, with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. It has a width of 150 cm and its care instructions include no bleaching, machine wash at maximum 40ºC, dry cleaning (except with trichloroethylene), cold ironing, and no tumble drying. Its application includes lingerie, sportswear, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings, among others. The base color is a Light Salmon Pink, as the CMYK indicates 0 cyan ink, 52 magenta, 30 yellow, and 0 black.

Light salmon pink is a color that, on one hand, is associated with femininity, sweetness, and tenderness, and on the other hand, it can also be perceived as an energetic and warm color. Regarding its combination with other colors, this secondary color goes very well with orange, brown, gray, green, and dark blue tones. This color is a vibrant and energetic pink that stands out on its own, but is also capable of complementing other strong colors without competing with them.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric. The general characteristics of the fabric include its soft texture, elasticity, and chlorine-resistant finish, as well as very high UV protection. Regarding its application, in addition to lingerie and sportswear, this fabric is ideal for creating swimwear, as its elasticity allows for both comfort and adaptation to different body shapes.

It is important to consider some care instructions for this fabric, given its high percentage of polyester. In addition to not bleaching and washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, this fabric should not be washed with trichloroethylene and should be ironed at a low temperature. Also, it should not be tumble dried, as it could deteriorate the elasticity of the fabric.

Finally, the sublimation printing technology (polyester) is used to manufacture this fabric. This high-quality printing process is based on the transfer of ink from a prepared transfer paper to the base fabric using heat and pressure, which guarantees high definition and sharpness of the printed color.
