The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra, known as Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. As for its plain printed color, it is a light tangerine orange hue, achieved through sublimation technique with the following CMYK values: 0 40 60 0. The secondary color is vibrant and attractive, with an exotic and summery touch. This color can be combined with mint green, lime yellow, fuchsia pink, and navy blue tones to create a fresh and fun color palette.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only, using digital textile printing. This means that the fabric is not dyed, but rather the ink is applied to the fabric surface through a sublimation printing process, which ensures the durability and brightness of the color.
The general characteristics of the base fabric include its elastic and resistant texture, making it an excellent choice for lingerie, swimwear, and sportswear. It has a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection of 50+, making it perfect for high-quality swimwear. Additionally, its applications and uses include swimsuits, bikinis, leggings, and leotards.
It is important to consider certain care instructions to maintain the quality and durability of the fabric, such as not bleaching it, washing it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not tumble drying, and ironing it at a cool temperature. It allows dry cleaning, except for trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of printing the ink onto the surface of the fabric and then fixing it through heat and pressure. This process allows for vibrant and long-lasting color, without fading with washing or use of the garment.
