The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2, with a width of 150 cm and a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. The fabric has an elastic and soft texture, is chlorine resistant, and has a high UV protection factor of 50+. The plain color printed on this fabric is Albumen Yellow, with a CMYK of 4 8 43 0. This secondary color is a soft yellow with creamy tones that combines well with pastel and neutral colors such as white and beige. The fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the base fabric is not dyed but printed.
The base fabric has excellent characteristics for various applications, such as lingerie, sportswear, swimsuits, bikinis, leggings, leotards, among others. Its elasticity and comfort make it ideal for tight-fitting garments, while its chlorine resistance makes it suitable for swimwear and sportswear. The albumen yellow color printed on this fabric is ideal for summer and beachwear.
It is important to note the care that must be taken to maintain the quality of this fabric. It should not be bleached, washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironed at a low temperature, and not tumble dried. In addition, dry cleaning is possible, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used on this fabric is called sublimation. In this process, the ink is first printed on transfer paper and then transferred to the fabric through heat and pressure. Sublimation is a high-quality technique that allows complex images and designs to be faithfully reproduced on the base fabric.
