Description

The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra called Nairobi, with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, a weight of 270 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a Greenish Yellow with a CMYK of 20 4 96 0, indicating an intense and vibrant tone with a slight mix of green. This color particularly combines well with neutral tones such as gray and white, as well as with soft pastel tones.

It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the color is applied only to one side of the fabric. The texture is elastic with a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor 50+.

Regarding its applications and uses, Polyester Lycra - Nairobi is ideal for manufacturing lingerie, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings, as well as for swimwear. In addition, it is a suitable fabric for swimwear fashion, especially for making swimsuits with a more athletic aesthetic.

It is important to consider the special care this fabric needs, which includes not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, not tumble drying, and ironing at a low temperature. It also allows dry cleaning, except for the use of trichloroethylene.

Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of a process in which the ink transforms into vapor, penetrating the polyester fabric fiber and permanently fixing through controlled pressure and temperature. This ensures the durability and resistance of the color for a long time.
