The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra called Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, 150 cm wide and not suitable for tumble drying. The printed color is aquamarine green, with a CMYK of 46 0 32 0 that combines cyan and yellow in equal measure. This color conveys tranquility and harmony, evoking nature and the sea. The fabric is digitally printed with this solid color on one side. The general characteristics of the base fabric include its elasticity, its resistance to chlorine, and a very high UV protection of 50+. Additionally, the base fabric is ideal for manufacturing lingerie, swimwear, tights, leggings, and sports leotards. Regarding care, it is important not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is recommended, but the use of trichloroethylene is discouraged. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature. Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows for bright and durable colors to be printed on synthetic fabrics.
