Polyester Lycra - Nairobi 270 gr/m2

The base fabric is a 270 gr/m2 Nairobi Polyester Lycra, with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, and a width of 150 cm. The plain printed color is a medium teal, with a mixture of 80% cyan ink, 13% magenta ink, 52% yellow ink, and 1% black ink in CMYK. This color resembles the hue of tropical waters and combines especially well with brown, orange, and pink tones.

The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the ink is applied directly to the surface of the fabric and penetrates the fibers to create a sharp and durable image. The Nairobi Polyester Lycra is an elastic fabric, chlorine resistant, and with a very high UV protection of 50+. In addition, it has a soft feel and uniform texture, which makes it ideal for close-fitting and sportswear.

The applications of this fabric are very diverse, from the manufacture of underwear and swimsuits to the production of sportswear and fashion. For underwear and swimsuits, its elasticity and chlorine resistance are especially valuable. To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is important to follow the care recommendations. It is suggested not to bleach the fabric and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed with the exception of trichloroethylene, and ironing is recommended at low temperature. Finally, the fabric should not be tumble dried.

The printing method for this fabric is sublimation, which means that the image is printed on special paper and then transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. This method allows for high-quality and durable images to be printed, in addition to ensuring that the colors remain vibrant even after multiple washes.
