The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2, composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is CMYK 87 79 0 0 Blasting Blue. This color is characterized by being a quite vibrant and striking tone, ideal for sportswear and swimwear. It complements very well with neutral colors such as white, black, and gray, also with lighter tones such as pink and yellow, generating contrast.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which is a modern and high-resolution printing technique that allows designs to be precisely and sharply rendered with a wide variety of colors.
Polyester Lycra - Nairobi is an elastic fabric, chlorine-resistant, with a very high UV protection factor of 50+, and thanks to its texture and feel, it is very pleasant on the skin. This fabric is mainly used for lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear, bikinis, swimsuits, tights, leggings, and fashion in general. Due to its characteristics, it is a fabric that adapts very well to the body, allowing great freedom of movement and being very comfortable for garments that need to fit the body.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron it at a cool temperature, and avoid tumble drying. Additionally, it can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which is characterized by being a high-quality and durable printing technique that uses special inks which, when printed on transfer paper, are fixed onto the fabric through heat and pressure. This allows for an optimal result, with bright and defined colors, resistant to wear, water, and sun.
