The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra - Nairobi of 270 gr/m2, made of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with an elastic texture and feel, and a finish resistant to chlorine and with a high UV protection factor of 50+. The solid printed color is a blue tone with bluish-violet hues, with a combination of cyan and magenta inks and without the presence of yellow and black inks, reflected in its CMYK value of 74 81 0 0.
This secondary color is in the range of cool tones, which gives it a feeling of calm and tranquility. In addition, it combines well with tones such as white, black, gray, green, and purple.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which provides great image quality and sharpness in details.
Regarding general characteristics, Polyester Lycra - Nairobi is elastic and resistant, which makes it ideal for application in lingerie, swimwear, sports, leotards, and leggings. It is also a timeless fabric, which makes it perfect for designers looking for a durable and versatile base.
For its care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, allow dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and avoid tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation on polyester, which allows the transfer of ink to the fabric through heat and pressure, creating a high-quality and resistant image.
