The base fabric is Recycled Lycra, weighing 190 gr/m2, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. The solid printed color is a pastel red, with a CMYK ink content of 3 for cyan, 63 for magenta, 55 for yellow, and 0 for black. The secondary color is a warm and soft tone that perfectly complements neutral tones like white, grey, and beige, as well as warmer tones like yellow and orange.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the ink has been printed on the surface of the fabric and has not been absorbed into its fibers. This technique allows for high quality and sharpness in the print.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric, its softness to the touch and its elasticity stand out, making it ideal for fitted garments such as swimsuits and bikinis. Furthermore, its chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV Protection Factor 50+ make it perfect for swimwear and sportswear. As for the color, its softness and pastel shade make it perfect for summer garments or to add a touch of cheer to any design.
The applications and uses of this fabric are diverse, including hair ties, scrunchies, swimsuits, and bikinis, as well as any fashion garment that requires an elastic and chlorine-resistant fabric. In addition, its GRS certification and sustainability through recycled materials make it ideal for ethical and environmentally friendly projects.
It is important to follow the fabric care recommendations, which include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. This ensures the durability and quality of the fabric.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink from a special printed paper to the surface of the fabric using pressure and heat. This technique allows for high color fidelity and the possibility of printing complex and personalized designs.
