Recycled Lycra - Recycled 190 gr/m2

The base fabric is Recycled Lycra, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is Mother-of-Pearl Pink, with a CMYK of 2 36 27 0, which indicates a slight presence of cyan and a greater presence of magenta and yellow, but no presence of black. This secondary color is characterized by being soft, fresh, and delicate, making it perfect for swimwear and womens fashion in general. In addition, it combines particularly well with white, gray, and light blue tones.

It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. In terms of its general characteristics, the base fabric is soft and elastic, chlorine resistant, and has a very high UV protection factor of 50+. The printed color is vibrant, durable, and has good color saturation.

Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, hair ties, scrunchies, sports bikinis and swimsuits, as well as fashion swimsuits stand out. It is also used in gymnastics suits and yoga apparel thanks to its elasticity and resistance.

To care for the fabric, we must take into account that it should not be bleached, dry cleaned, or tumble dried. In addition, it is advised to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and iron it at a cool temperature.

Finally, it should be noted that the printing technology used is polyester sublimation, which allows for the printing of vibrant, resistant, and durable colors on synthetic fabrics, such as lycra. Through this sublimation process, the ink adheres permanently to the fibers of the fabric, preventing color loss over time and washing.
