The base fabric is Recycled Lycra, with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane and a weight of 190 gr/m2. The plain printed color is a beautiful watermelon pink with a CMYK value of 0 36 24 0. The secondary color used is an intense magenta which is perfect for accentuating the vibrant and modern look of the watermelon pink. Additionally, the secondary color also works very well with a wide range of colors, including lighter and darker shades of pink, purple, and red.
It is important to note that the base fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that it is only printed on one side of the fabric and does not dye it. Digital textile printing is a high-quality printing process that uses a special printer to produce precise and vibrant colors on the fabric.
The general characteristics of the base fabric include its softness, elasticity, and chlorine resistance. It also has a very high UPF protection factor of 50+, making it an ideal choice for the beach and pool. Furthermore, the fabric is recycled and GRS certified, making it a sustainable option.
The applications and uses of the base fabric are diverse, as it is perfect for sportswear and swimwear, such as bikinis and swimsuits. It can also be used for fashion accessories, such as hair ties and scrunchies. Its elasticity and softness make it ideal for any form-fitting garment or one that requires a high degree of mobility.
It is important to consider the care instructions for this type of fabric. Machine wash at a maximum temperature of 40 °C is recommended, and do not use bleach. The garment is not suitable for dry cleaning, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature. Furthermore, it should not be tumble dried.
The printing technique used for this fabric is sublimation, a technique in which ink is transferred to the fabric using high temperature and pressure. This printing process ensures high image quality and excellent durability.
