The base fabric, Recycled Lycra - Recycled, weighing 190 gr/m2, comes in a vibrant shockingly pink color with a CMYK of 22 83 0 0. This intense and bold secondary color perfectly combines with neutral tones like grey and black, and with pastel shades like lavender and beige. It is important to note that this fabric is digitally printed on one side, meaning the solid color is only present on one side of the fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, it features a soft and elastic texture, ensuring great comfort when worn. Additionally, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+. In terms of applications, this recycled fabric is ideal for making sports swimwear, such as bikinis and swimsuits, as well as hair ties and scrunchies. Its use is not limited to the fashion world, as its size and resistance make it ideal for a wide variety of uses.
Caring for this fabric is crucial to maintain its quality, avoiding any type of bleaching and ensuring it is not dry cleaned. The maximum washing temperature should be 40ºC, and it can only be ironed at a cool temperature. On the other hand, this fabric cannot be tumble dried as this could damage it.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is known as sublimation (polyester). This digital textile printing technique ensures high color quality and long-term durability, allowing this vibrant and attractive fabric to bring joy and comfort to its uses and applications over time.
