The base fabric is Recycled Lycra - Recycled, 190 gr/m2, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a width of 150 cm and a weight of 190 gr/m2. The plain printed color is cork brown with a CMYK of 18 29 61 5. This color mix produces an earthy tone, with brown and reddish nuances that evoke feelings of warmth and nature. It combines perfectly with neutral and earthy tones, as well as with more vibrant and daring accents such as emerald green or rose gold.
This fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the color is applied only on the front of the fabric. The general characteristics of the base fabric highlight its softness and elasticity, allowing great freedom of movement. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor (UPF50+), which makes it an ideal fabric for swimwear and sportswear.
The applications and uses of this fabric are wide and varied, from scrunchies and hair ties to swimsuits and bikinis. Its versatility allows it to adapt to other garments beyond specific swimwear and sportswear. In addition, having the GRS certification confirms that it is a sustainable and environmentally friendly fabric.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at low temperature, and do not tumble dry. In addition, the garment does not allow dry cleaning.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of the direct transfer of solvent ink onto the fabric by means of heat and pressure. The advantage of this method is the permanent fixation of the ink, which guarantees greater durability and resistance to washing and rubbing.
