The base fabric of our material is Recycled Lycra – Recycled, weighing 190 gr/m2, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane with a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is Purple, with an ink content of 43 Cyan, 100 Magenta, 32 Yellow, and 49 Black, represented in CMYK 43 100 32 49. This color can be described as an Imperial Purple with an intense and deep hue. It pairs particularly well with gray, white, black, and dark blue tones, achieving a sophisticated and elegant effect.
It is important to note that our fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. Regarding its general characteristics, Recycled Lycra – Recycled is a fabric with a soft and elastic texture, making it ideal for clothing that requires comfort and optimal fit. Furthermore, it features a chlorine-resistant finish and Very High UV protection 50+, making it perfect for swimwear and sportswear.
The base fabric can be used in a wide variety of applications and uses, beyond those specified above, such as leggings, sports tops, underwear, among others. Recycled Lycra – Recycled is a sustainable fabric, certified with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), which guarantees its commitment to the environment.
Regarding care, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoid the use of bleaches, not dry clean, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry, to avoid altering the fabrics characteristics.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring an image previously printed on special paper through heat and pressure so that the color penetrates the fabrics fibers. This printing method offers great sharpness and color durability.
