The base fabric is 190 gr/m2 Recycled Lycra, with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, and a weight of 190 gr/m2. This fabric has an attractive soft and elastic texture that adapts to the bodys shape and allows excellent mobility. The secondary printed color, Champagne Yellow, consists of 10% cyan ink, 7% magenta ink, 15% yellow ink, and 0% black ink in the CMYK model. This color can be described as a soft and bright yellow with a champagne hue that makes it especially elegant. This color combines perfectly with other soft and bright colors, such as pink or mint green.
It is important to note that the base fabric is printed with a solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the fabric is not dyed but printed on one side. The print quality is excellent, and the color remains bright and defined even after multiple washes.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric are its chlorine resistance and Very High UV protection 50+. In addition, Recycled Lycra is a sustainable and environmentally friendly fabric, as it is made with recycled materials and has GRS certification.
The Recycled Lycra base fabric is widely used in the manufacture of sports swimsuits and bikinis, as well as in other fashion products and hair accessories such as scrunchies. The fabric is highly resistant to water and wear, making it ideal for aquatic applications.
It is important to take into account the necessary care to maintain the quality of the fabric. Do not bleach or dry clean. The maximum washing temperature is 40ºC, and it is recommended to iron the garment at a cool temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is called sublimation (polyester). This digital textile printing process is highly effective for producing high-quality images and bright colors on synthetic fabrics such as Recycled Lycra.
