The base fabric is 190 gr/m2 Recycled Lycra, composed of 85% polyester and the remaining 15% elastane. The solid printed color is Esparto Yellow, with a CMYK of 6-13-25-0. This secondary color is a greenish-yellow that reflects the natural shade of esparto. It complements well with earthy and neutral tones such as brown and beige, as well as dark tones such as black and gray.
The base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing. This printing technique allows for great design precision and a high-quality result.
Recycled Lycra has a soft and elastic texture, making it ideal for swimwear and sportswear. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection of factor 50+. Among the applications and uses of the fabric are swimsuits, bikinis, hair ties, and scrunchies.
It is important to consider the necessary care for this fabric, avoiding the use of bleach and washing it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. The garment cannot be dry cleaned or tumble dried, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which allows the transfer of dye from special paper to the fabric through heat and pressure. In this way, high print quality and great resistance to wear and fading are achieved.
