The base fabric of this textile is a Recycled Lycra of 190 gr/m2, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, which gives it a soft and elastic texture to the touch. The solid color printed is a Linen Yellow, with a CMYK of 4 8 26 0, which produces a pale yellow tone with a beige hue. This secondary color is very versatile and combines well with other earth tones, such as browns and oranges, as well as with pastel tones such as pink and mint green.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with a solid color on one side, using digital textile printing. This means that the printed color is only present on one side of the fabric, and that the other side is white or the original base color of the fabric.
The general characteristics of this fabric are its chlorine resistance and its very high UV protection 50+. In addition, being a recycled fabric with GRS certification, it is a sustainable option for manufacturing sportswear and swimwear. This fabric is suitable for various applications, such as bikinis, swimsuits, hair ties, and scrunchies, and can be used in any season of the year.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is important to avoid bleaching and wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, it is recommended not to use dry cleaning or tumble drying, and to iron at a cool temperature.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which allows the ink to penetrate the fabric and permanently adhere to the polyester fibers. Thanks to this technique, vibrant and precise colors can be achieved in digital textile printing.
