Recycled Lycra - Recycled 190 gr/m2

The base fabric is Recycled Lycra - Recycled, weighing 190 gr/m2, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. This fabric is a Lycra type, making it elastic and comfortable to the touch. Additionally, it has a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a Shadow Blue Gray, obtained through digital textile printing with a CMYK of 58 38 23 6, which gives a very interesting hue to this fabric.

The Shadow Blue Gray color conveys a sense of seriousness and elegance, ideal for more formal apparel. This secondary color combines perfectly with warm shades of brown, beiges, and golds, but can also be used as a contrast with more intense shades of blue and green.

The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means only one side is printed; it is not a dyed fabric but a printed one.

The general characteristics of the base fabric are softness and elasticity to the touch, and it features a chlorine-resistant finish and very high 50+ UV protection. Furthermore, it is GRS certified and is a sustainable fabric as it is recycled.

As for applications and uses, apart from its use in swimwear, bikinis, and bathing suits, it can also be included in scrunchies. Due to its elasticity and soft feel, it can also be used in sportswear, such as tops, leggings, and cycling apparel.

Regarding care instructions, bleach should be avoided, wash at a maximum of 40ºC, do not tumble dry, and iron at a low temperature. Additionally, tumble drying is not recommended.

The technology used for printing is sublimation, which allows printing on synthetic fabrics like polyester through the use of special inks that effectively and durably fix colors on the fabric surface. This process prevents fading and discoloration.
