Recycled Lycra - Recycled 190 gr/m2

The Recycled Lycra - Recycled fabric, weighing 190 gr/m2 in light apricot orange, is a stretchy and soft fabric composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. The CMYK of the plain color reflects a very low cyan base, with a greater presence of magenta and a high yellow value. This secondary color is a blend between orange and yellow with pastel tones, symbolizing the energy and vitality associated with these hues. Light apricot is a soft and sweet form of orange that is commonly considered a welcoming and warm color. This color combines very well with earthy tones, browns, and yellows.

The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing. Due to this, it is important to note that the printed color does not transfer to the other side of the fabric.

Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, it has a soft and elastic texture, is chlorine resistant, and boasts a very high UV protection factor of 50+. Additionally, it is certified as sustainable through GRS certification and is a suitable option for making sportswear, swimwear, and other fashion items. With its stretch and perfect fit, applications and uses open up to many other markets, such as hair ties or scrunchies in fashion, or even for other textile uses.

The fabric requires specific care to ensure its quality and durability. It should not be bleached, and washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and cold ironing are advised. The garment does not allow dry cleaning and cannot be tumble dried.

The printing technology used to create this fabric is sublimation on polyester fiber. With this process, color is infused into the polyester fiber instead of being applied to the fabric surface. This ensures that the color does not fade or wear off over time and washes, and also helps the fabric be chlorine resistant.
