The 190 gr/m2 Recycled Lycra base fabric is a Lycra-type fabric composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. With a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this certified sustainable fabric has a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+. The solid printed color is an ocher orange with a CMYK of 13 36 70 3, which is combined with other colors such as white, black, and earth tones. The base fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which allows for high print quality and precise details.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, it stands out for its soft and elastic texture, making it an excellent option for swimwear and sportswear. In addition, it has GRS certification and is made with recycled materials that contribute to environmental care.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are scrunchies, bikinis, and swimsuits, for both men and women. It is also suitable for making fashion garments and accessories. As for its care, it is recommended to wash the garment at a maximum temperature of 40°C, iron it at a cool temperature, and not use bleach or a dryer. Also, dry cleaning should be avoided.
Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation (polyester), a process in which the ink turns into gas and penetrates the fibers of the fabric, achieving a durable and high-quality result in the printed image. It is important to note that the fabric is not dyed but printed on one side, which allows for maintaining the quality of the printed color. In short, the 190 gr/m2 Recycled Lycra fabric is a versatile, sustainable, and suitable fabric for various applications, with high print quality achieved thanks to sublimation technology.
