The base fabric, Recycled Lycra - Recycled 190 gr/m2, has a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane and a weight of 190 gr/m2. Its width is 150 cm and it has GRS certification and the sustainability of being recycled. The plain printed color is Ferrari Red, represented in CMYK with the absence of Cyan ink, a high proportion of Magenta and Yellow, and no black ink. This color evokes passion and energy, being both a vibrant and elegant tone. It is a secondary color that combines well with other warm colors, such as oranges and yellows, as well as with cool tones such as greens and blues.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it is not a dyed fabric, but printed on one side. The characteristics of the fabric are its softness, elasticity and its resistance to chlorine. In addition, it has a high UV protection factor, Very High UV protection 50+. This fabric is ideal for sportswear and swimwear, such as bikinis and swimsuits.
Regarding the applications and uses of the base fabric, in addition to those already mentioned for HAIR TIES, SCRUNCHIES, and SWIMWEAR, this fabric is also suitable for making leggings and sports tops. To obtain a better result in the manufacture of this type of garment, it is important to take into account the high elasticity index of the fabric.
For the care of this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and iron it at a cold temperature. The garment should not be bleached or dry cleaned, and cannot be tumble dried. It is important to follow these instructions to prolong the life of the fabric.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, which consists of a process in which the ink turns into vapor upon contact with the fabric, and then solidifies and adheres to the fabric. This process allows for high quality printing on fabrics such as Recycled Lycra - Recycled 190 gr/m2.
