Description

The base fabric is Recycled Lycra, a lycra composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a rubicund red with a CMYK content of 0-95-76-0. This secondary color has great intensity and luminosity, making it perfect for swimwear and sportswear that require powerful tones. Its ideal combination is with neutral tones such as white and black, as well as dark tones such as blue and green.

It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, and it is important to bear in mind that this is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.

The base fabric has a soft and elastic texture, as well as a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+. In addition, it has GRS certification and is a sustainable fabric, as it is made from recycled materials.

Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, we can highlight hair ties, scrunchies, bikinis and swimsuits, for both men and women, as well as for making sportswear and swimwear. The fabric is ideal for t-shirts, leggings, and sports shorts, as well as for swimsuits, thanks to its elasticity and water resistance.

It is important to take into account the care of this fabric, avoiding bleaching it and washing it at temperatures above 40ºC. It is also not recommended to tumble dry it, or subject it to dry cleaning processes.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a system that allows ink to be transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure, achieving a crisp and durable print on the fabric surface. This technology is ideal for printing synthetic fabrics such as lycra, as it allows the fabrics elasticity and comfort to be maintained without compromising the printed color.
