The base fabric, Recycled Lycra - Recycled, 190 gr/m2, is a lycra composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. It has a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The secondary color available to be printed on this fabric is Black/Charcoal, with a CMYK of 0 0 0 100. This color is elegant, sophisticated, and fits perfectly into any fashion or sports design. Additionally, it is a tone that can be easily combined with a wide variety of colors, especially with pastel and neutral shades.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with a solid color on one side using digital textile printing, utilizing sublimation technology (polyester). That is, it is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed on one side to achieve greater precision in design details.
Among the general characteristics of this fabric, we can highlight its soft and elastic texture, which makes it very comfortable to the touch and to wear. In addition, this lycra has a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+ (UPF), making it ideal for swimwear or sportswear.
Regarding the applications and uses of the base fabric, in addition to those already indicated, Recycled Lycra is perfect for making leggings, tops, sports tights, bodysuits, among other garments that require an elastic and resistant fabric.
As for the care this fabric will require, it is important to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not to use chlorine or bleaching products. Its use in dry cleaning is not recommended, nor should it be dried in a tumble dryer. In addition, ironing should be done at a cool temperature.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that sublimation technology is a digital printing technique used to print a wide variety of textiles, allowing high-quality designs with great detail and color. In this case, Recycled Lycra is printed with this technology to achieve a high-quality and durable finish.
