The base fabric is a Recycled Lycra - Recycled of 190 gr/m2 in a pale blue tone with a CMYK of 37 0 2 0. This secondary color is soft, relaxing, and fresh, ideal for sports and swimwear. The blue combines perfectly with white, gray, and black tones to create a minimalist look or with prints in green or yellow tones for a fresher style. This fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which allows high resolution in the designs without affecting the softness and elasticity of the fabric.
The general characteristics of Recycled Lycra include its soft touch and elasticity, ideal for sports and swimwear. Additionally, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection of 50+. On the other hand, the color printed on this fabric has high quality and sharpness in the designs thanks to digital printing technology.
This fabric is perfect for a variety of applications and uses such as making bikinis, swimsuits, and scrunchies due to its elasticity and water resistance. It is also ideal for making sportswear thanks to its chlorine resistance and UV protection. In addition, Recycled Lycra is a sustainable and environmentally friendly fabric, guaranteed by its GRS certification and the use of recycled materials.
To care for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. The printed garment is not suitable for dry cleaning or tumble drying, and it is recommended to iron it at a cool temperature.
The printing technology applied in the manufacturing of this fabric is polyester sublimation. This process is carried out by using special inks and a large format printer that prints the desired design on special paper. Then, the paper is placed on the base fabric and subjected to high temperatures, which causes the inks to turn into a gas that adheres to the fibers of the fabric, thus creating the printed design. This process ensures high quality and sharpness of the designs printed on the fabric.
