The base fabric is Recycled Lycra - Seal, weighing 230 gr/m2, composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane, with a grammage of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is an African Violet-Purple, with a CMYK content of 35 55 0 0. This color is characterized by its feminine and sophisticated tone, referencing the strength of the African violet flower and its representation of femininity. This secondary color pairs particularly well with cream, white, gold, and pale pink.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which ensures greater print durability and better detail definition. Additionally, Recycled Lycra - Seal boasts various features, including its elastic texture and feel, its chlorine resistance, and a very high UV protection factor of 50+.
The applications and uses of this fabric are extensive, making it ideal for lingerie, sportswear, swimwear (bikinis and swimsuits), tights and leggings, as well as general beachwear. It is important to note that due to its composition of 75% polyester and 25% elastane, it is a firm yet elastic fabric, perfect for garments that require movement and stretch.
Regarding fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. The garment is not suitable for dry cleaning and should be ironed at a cool temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended for this fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is polyester sublimation, which involves transferring ink onto the fabric through heat and pressure. Sublimation is a printing technique that allows for greater detail definition and longer print durability on the fabric. In conclusion, the 230 gr/m2 Recycled Lycra - Seal is a fabric that stands out for its versatility, resistance, and sun protection, perfect for making sportswear and swimwear, in addition to being a sustainable alternative as it is a GRS-certified recycled fabric.
