The base fabric is Recycled Lycra – Seal with a weight of 230 gr/m2, composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane, with a grammage of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed solid color is plaster white, with a CMYK of 9 7 11 0, which indicates a soft, warm tone with low cyan and magenta content, and high yellow content. This tone is characterized by its elegance and subtlety, making it ideal for high-end lingerie and swimwear. Additionally, it pairs perfectly with other soft and neutral tones such as light gray, beige, and pastel pink.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, meaning it is not a dyed fabric but printed on the visible side. In terms of its characteristics, the fabric presents a soft and elastic texture that provides excellent comfort when worn, and features a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of up to 50+. Regarding the printed color, the ink used is resistant and durable, ensuring color permanence after several washes.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, lingerie, swimwear such as bikinis and swimsuits, sportswear such as tights, leggings, and leotards, as well as fashion garments such as dresses, tops, and skirts stand out. Thanks to its elasticity and soft texture, this fabric is ideal for garments that require a high degree of mobility and comfort when worn.
It is important to follow the recommended care for this type of fabric, such as washing at a maximum temperature of 40 °C, not using bleach, not dry cleaning, ironing at a low temperature, and avoiding tumble drying. By following these instructions, greater fabric durability and optimal preservation of the printed color are ensured.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which consists of printing the ink on special paper and transferring it to the fabric using a heat press. This process ensures high quality and definition of the printed image, allowing for the creation of unique and high-impact visual designs on fashion and sports garments.
