The base fabric is Recycled Lycra - Seal, weighing 230 gr/m2. It is a lycra fabric composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane, with a weight of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is medium vermilion red, with a ink combination of 10 cyan, 72 magenta, 79 yellow, and 2 black, with a CMYK reference of 10 72 79 2. This color symbolizes passion, love, and energy, and is associated with security and determination. It combines well with other warm colors like orange and yellow, but also with cool tones like blue and green.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that any image, design, or pattern can be printed directly onto the fabric with high resolution and vibrant colors. The general characteristics of this fabric include a pleasant feel and high elasticity, chlorine resistance, and a very high UV protection factor of 50+.
Applications and uses of the printed recycled lycra fabric include lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, tights, leggings, and it also yields excellent results in fashion, for example, for making swimwear. Its season is timeless, and it has GRS certification for recycled fabric.
It is important to note that the fabric requires special care. It should be machine washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C, and bleaching or dry cleaning is not recommended. Ironing should be done at a low temperature, and it is preferable not to tumble dry the fabric.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process in which a special paper printed with sublimation ink is placed in contact with the fabric and heated to a high temperature so that the ink transfers to the fabric. Sublimation printing is characterized by its durability and resistance to washing and wear.
