The base fabric is Recycled Lycra - Seal, weighing 230 gr/m2, composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane, with a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Russian Green, with CMYK values of 64 25 67 8. This color is described as a dark, deep, and elegant shade of green, symbolizing life, nature, and hope. Furthermore, this color pairs especially well with warm tones such as browns, oranges, and reds.
It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed with the solid color on one side only; it is not a dyed fabric but rather printed on a single face. Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, it stands out for its elastic texture and chlorine resistance, with a finish that offers very high UV protection (50+). Additionally, the fabric is GRS certified and sustainable, being made from recycled materials.
The applications and uses for this fabric are highly varied, ranging from lingerie and bodysuits to swimwear and bikinis, as well as sportswear (swimsuits, leotards, and leggings) and fashion (swimwear). This versatility is due to the fabrics elasticity and chlorine-resistant finish, making it perfect for garments that require a good fit and high durability.
For care, it is recommended to wash the garment at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid using bleach or dry cleaning. It should also be ironed at a cool temperature and tumble drying should be avoided.
Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high precision in color reproduction and great versatility in terms of designs and patterns. In this process, inks are converted into gas when subjected to heat and pressure, allowing them to penetrate the fabric and provide a high-quality, durable print.
