Description

The base fabric is Recycled Lycra - Seal of 230 gr/m2, composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane. The solid printed color is a shade of Purple, specifically Purple Heart, with a content of 77% cyan ink and 82% magenta ink in CMYK, with no yellow or black ink content. The result is a vibrant and striking color that perfectly combines with dark colors like black, brown, or gray, but also with pastel shades like pink or light blue.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric, but rather the ink is printed on the surface of the fabric. Recycled Lycra is an elastic and soft-to-the-touch fabric, resistant to chlorine and with a very high UV protection factor 50+. In addition, it has GRS certification and is sustainable as it is made with recycled materials.

Among the applications and uses of this base fabric, we find both sportswear and fashion garments, from swimwear such as bikinis or swimsuits to leggings, tights, or sports leotards for women, men, and children. Its grammage of 230 gr/m2 makes it ideal for making form-fitting garments that adapt to the bodys shape.

Regarding care, it is important to wash the garment at a maximum of 40ºC without using bleach or dry cleaning, iron at a low temperature, and do not use a tumble dryer to avoid damaging the fabric or fading the printed color.

Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which, through heat and pressure, causes the printed ink to turn into gas and penetrate the fabric fibers, resulting in a high-quality and durable print.
