The base fabric is Recycled Lycra - Seal, weighing 230 gr/m2, composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane, with a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is a very light sky blue, or Day, which consists of 57% Cyan ink, 20% Magenta ink, and 10% Yellow ink, in the CMYK color model.
This color resembles a beautiful clear sky and easily combines with pastel tones, grays, and whites. Regarding general characteristics, the base fabric is elastic, with a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV Protection Factor of 50+.
This fabric has diverse applications, being perfect for lingerie, sportswear, swimwear and bikinis for both men and women and children, leotards, and tights/leggings. As for its care, it is important to wash this type of fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not use bleach or tumble dryer. Avoid dry cleaning and iron at low temperature.
Finally, digital textile printing is the technology used to print one side of the fabric with the solid color in question. This technique uses special inks on the fabric and heat that permanently fixes the ink on the fabric surface. In this way, intense and defined colors are achieved on elastic fabrics such as Recycled Lycra - Seal.
