The base fabric, Microfiber for Towel - Swing, is a 100% polyester microfiber fabric with a weight of 200 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. The printed solid color is Battleship Grey, which is obtained from a combination of 48 cyan ink, 37 magenta ink, 39 yellow ink, and 19 black ink, with a CMYK profile of 48 37 39 19. This color is characterized by its elegance and sobriety, and it combines perfectly with light or bright tones to create interesting contrasts. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing; it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.
Microfiber is known for its soft and smooth texture, which is one of the main attributes of the base fabric. Additionally, its polyester composition makes it resistant and durable, ideal for use in high-quality textile products. Regarding the printed color, the ink is of high quality and durability, allowing for a uniform and long-lasting finish on the fabric. The combination of both elements creates an elegant and functional fabric, perfect for towels, kitchen cloths, bathrobes, and other home textiles and sports bath products.
Regarding the applications and uses of the base fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it is also used for making sportswear and outdoor clothing thanks to its lightness and water resistance, as well as for manufacturing air and liquid filters. As for the printed color, its grayish tone adapts very well to any decorating style, and can be combined with lighter or darker tones depending on preference and the environment to be decorated.
Regarding care, it is important to consider the manufacturers recommendations, which indicate no bleaching, washing in cold water (maximum 30ºC), no ironing or dry cleaning, avoiding tumble drying, as this could damage the printed color and reduce the lifespan of the fabric.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink from a solid to a gas without passing through the liquid state. Printing is done on sublimation paper, which is then placed in contact with the fabric surface and subjected to high temperature and pressure so that the ink adheres to the fabric, achieving high print quality and color durability.
