Recycled Microfiber - Biarritz is a microfiber fabric with a composition of 100% polyester and a weight of 110 gr/m2. Its width of 147 cm makes it ideal for multiple applications, such as fashion, accessories, sportswear, swimwear, bags, wallets, Bermuda shorts, and swimsuits. This timeless fabric is GRS certified, indicating that it is a sustainable and recycled fabric.
The plain printed color of this fabric is a deep purple, also known as strong purple, with an 80% cyan ink content and a 93% magenta ink content. This color combination results in a deep and energetic secondary color, which brings great personality to any garment or accessory made with it. Purple combines especially well with pink and blue tones, creating a very current and elegant stylistic palette.
It should be noted that the digital textile printing of this fabric is done on one side only, which means that the inner side does not have the same design as the outer side. This printing technique is very precise and allows for bright, well-defined colors with great sharpness.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, we can highlight its soft, thin, and stiff texture to the touch. This makes it ideal for garments that require a good drape and an elegant look. The plain printed color, for its part, is very resistant to washing and does not fade easily over time.
The applications and uses of this fabric are very wide, as we have already mentioned. But also, it is a perfect fabric for creative and sophisticated pieces thanks to its great versatility. For example, it can be used in both clothing and accessories, such as bags or wallets. This fabric is also ideal for making sports swimsuits and Bermuda shorts thanks to its high resistance to water and humidity.
Regarding the care that should be taken to keep this fabric in good condition, it is important to avoid using bleaches, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and do not use a dryer. Dry cleaning is also allowed, but without trichloroethylene. In addition, ironing should be done at a cold temperature to avoid damaging the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of a chemical process that transforms the dye into gas so that it then fixes itself to the fabrics fibers. This process provides an excellent final result in terms of sharpness, brightness, and print quality.
