The base fabric of this textile is the Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, a corduroy fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its solid printed color is a Crayola Red, according to CMYK 4 94 55 0. This color is characterized by being intense and striking, with a mix of red and orange tones that makes it very versatile to combine with other colors.
The fabrics texture is soft and velvety to the touch, with a visible sheen on its smooth surface. The printed color is bright and vibrant, with a printing quality that allows maintaining the durability and vivacity of the colors over time. It should be noted that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the printed design is exclusive to one side of the fabric.
Among the attributes of the base fabric are its softness and flexibility, which make it ideal for use in decoration and upholstery projects such as sofas, armchairs, and cushions, as well as for making clothing items such as pants, jackets, and blazers. This type of corduroy is popular in the winter season due to its thermal insulation capacity and durability.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. This garment does not allow dry cleaning with trichloroethylene, but it can be dry cleaned with other products. It is advised to iron at a cool temperature and it should not be tumble dried to preserve the texture and original shape of the fabric in good condition.
The printing technology used to produce this fabric is sublimation, a process that allows the design to be fixed by applying heat and pressure to the surface of the fabric, ensuring high print quality and color durability. This printing process is suitable for polyester fabrics, as it allows the ink to adhere permanently to the fabric fibers.
