The base fabric, Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, has a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. Its grammage is 280 gr/m2 and it has a width of 150 cm. As for the plain color, it is a red called Fire Engine, with a combination of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black inks of 18, 98, 94, and 9 respectively. This color combines perfectly with black and gray tones, providing a high visual impact contrast.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which offers us the opportunity to have a fabric with the exact color we want without having to acquire an already dyed fabric.
Among the general characteristics of the fabric, we can highlight its softness to the touch and its visual shine. Velvety Corduroy - Dublin is mainly used in decoration and upholstery of furniture, although it is also used in the manufacture of clothing and accessories. The fabric can be used both indoors and outdoors, and in rooms such as the living room, bedroom, or kitchen.
For the care of the base fabric, it is important to note that it should not be bleached, that the maximum washing temperature is 30ºC, and that dry cleaning with trichloroethylene is not allowed. Dry cleaning is permitted, ironing at a cold temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of printing the plain color on special paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This provides high color quality, durability, and unique vibrancy to the fabric.
