The base fabric, Velvet Corduroy - Dublin, is composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is cherry red, with a CMYK of 20 70 22 2, reflecting a deep and elegant shade. The secondary color, cherry, symbolizes passion and strength, in addition to being a warm and highly intense color. It is perfect for combining with earthy tones, grays, and dark greens. The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which allows for high definition and perfect color fixation.
The general characteristics of this fabric are its soft texture and its bright appearance, which gives it a luxurious and elegant look. Velvet corduroy is perfect for decoration, upholstery, and fashion, offering great resistance and durability. The main uses of this fabric include, among others, upholstery for sofas and armchairs, making pants, jackets, blazers, coats, and vests, as well as manufacturing accessories such as handbags or backpacks.
It is important to note the special care required for this fabric, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not dry cleaning (except tetrachloroethylene), ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. This way, maximum durability and preservation of the fabric are guaranteed.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high definition and total color fixation on the fabric surface. This process is carried out by applying an ink that is heated and converted into a gas, penetrating the fibers of the fabric and creating a durable print resistant to wear and washing. Thanks to this technology, high-quality custom designs can be achieved at a very competitive cost.
