The base fabric is Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, a weight of 280 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is Apricot Orange with a CMYK of 20 65 100 9. This color is described as vibrant and warm, being a mix between orange and yellow. It pairs well with earthy colors such as brown, beige, and dark green.
The fabric is digitally textile printed with the solid color on one side, which provides high definition and quality in the design. The general characteristics of the base fabric are its softness to the touch and its visual sheen. In addition, this corduroy is resistant and durable, so it can be used for both fashion and decoration. As for the printed solid color, it is resistant to light and washing, so its durability is guaranteed.
Velvety Corduroy - Dublin has multiple applications and uses. In decoration, it is used for upholstering chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as for making cushions and baskets. In fashion, it is used for trousers, jackets, blazers, and gilets for both men and women. It is also used for making accessories such as bags and backpacks.
It is important to consider the necessary care to maintain the quality of the fabric. The garment does not allow dry cleaning, but it does allow professional dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene. It is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and iron at a cool temperature. It cannot be tumble dried or bleached.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process consists of transferring the drawing or design through heat and pressure of the ink onto the fabric, giving it high quality of definition and color. Sublimation is ideal for polyester fabrics and allows printing on one side, as described above.
