The base fabric, Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, is a corduroy composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. The printed plain color is Standard Magenta Pink, with a combination of Cyan 0, Magenta 94, Yellow 0, and Black 0 in CMYK. This secondary color is a vibrant and strong shade that conveys a sense of excitement and energy. It pairs very well with neutral tones such as gray and brown, as well as with softer tones like dusty pink and beige.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the design has been applied to only one side of the fabric. The texture of the Velvety Corduroy - Dublin is soft to the touch and has a visual sheen that gives it a luxurious and sophisticated look.
The fabric is highly versatile, allowing for diverse applications and uses such as furniture upholstery, interior decoration, and fashion. It is perfect for making garments like overshirts, jackets, and blousons, as well as for crafting bags and backpacks. For interior decoration, it is perfectly suited for making cushions, baskets, and upholstering sofas and and chairs.
It is important to consider that the fabric requires certain care to maintain its quality and finish. It can be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, but it should not be bleached or dry cleaned with trichloroethylene. It allows for dry cleaning and cool ironing but should not be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used for manufacturing the Velvety Corduroy - Dublin is sublimation, a technique that allows designs to be permanently printed on the surfaces of polyester fabrics through the application of heat and pressure. This technology achieves high-quality designs and great adhesion to the fabric.
