The base fabric is Velveteen Corduroy - Dublin, with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, a weight of 280 gr/m2, and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on the fabric is Almagre Brown, with a CMYK of 24, 94, 100, 21. This color is rich and warm, with brown and red tones that make it perfect for cozy and elegant environments. The color combines especially well with golden tones, dark browns, and deep greens. It is important to mention that the printing is done only on one side of the fabric by means of digital textile printing.
The base fabric has a soft and shiny texture, which makes it ideal for decorating and upholstering furniture such as chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as for making fashion garments such as trousers, overshirts, jackets, and blazers, and accessories such as bags and backpacks. The fabric is also suitable for making cushions for different rooms in the home, such as the kitchen, bedroom, and living room, as well as storage baskets. In addition, the fabric is a perfect option for outdoors as it can withstand adverse weather conditions.
It is important to consider some care instructions to maintain the quality of the base fabric. It is recommended not to bleach and to wash the garment at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. The fabric does not tolerate dry cleaning with trichloroethylene, but it does tolerate dry cleaning with other agents. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature and the fabric should not be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation. This technique consists of printing an image on transfer paper with special inks and transferring this image to the fabric through heat and pressure. Sublimation is a high-quality process that allows obtaining designs of great sharpness and durability on a wide variety of textile surfaces.
