The base fabric for this description is Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, a corduroy with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. Its weight of 280 gr/m2 and fabric width of 150 cm make it a resistant and versatile fabric. The plain color printed on this fabric is a Dark Sienna Brown, with CMYK content of 48-88-69-77. This color is a warm, earthy tone that can combine very well with other earth tones such as beige or light gray.
It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing and has a soft texture and a visual sheen that make it very attractive. Regarding its characteristics, its softness and resistance stand out, making it ideal for both decoration and fashion garment manufacturing.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, upholstery for sofas, chairs, and armchairs can be mentioned, as well as the manufacturing of pants and jackets. This fabric can also be used for making accessories such as bags and backpacks.
To maintain the properties of this fabric, it is important to follow the manufacturers recommended care instructions, which include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30°C, not dry cleaning, and dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene. Also, it should be ironed at a cool temperature and not tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a textile printing method that allows for high-quality and durable prints thanks to the inks fixation in the fabrics fiber itself. All of this results in a quality, resistant fabric with a durable print that satisfies both the eye and the touch.
