Description

Velvet Corduroy - Dublin is a corduroy fabric made of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It has a soft and shiny finish, making it ideal for decoration and fashion. The plain printed color is Treviso Earth Brown, which consists of 32% cyan ink, 79% magenta ink, 57% yellow ink, and 38% black ink (CMYK: 32 79 57 38). It is a warm and inviting color that pairs well with earth tones and natural colors.

The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which allows for highly faithful reproduction of any design. The base fabric has a soft texture to the touch and a subtle sheen that adds elegance to garments or decorative pieces. It is perfect for upholstering chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as for making trousers, overshirts, and jackets. It is also suitable for accessories, such as bags and backpacks, and for decorating cushions, baskets, and other household items.

Regarding care, it is recommended to wash the garment at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and not to use bleach. The garment is not suitable for dry cleaning, but it can be dry cleaned with solvents that do not contain trichloroethylene. It is preferable to iron at a low temperature and not to tumble dry.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is called sublimation, which consists of printing the design on transfer paper with special inks and then transferring the design to the fabric using heat and pressure. The result is a crisp and durable print that does not crack or lose color over time.
