Velvetleaf - Dublin

The base fabric is a velvety corduroy made of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed on the fabric is a soft shade of lavender purple, with a CMYK of 11 9 0 0, which perfectly combines with pastel tones and neutral shades like beige or gray. It is worth noting that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing; it is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed directly on the surface of the fabric.

The corduroy has a soft texture and a visual sheen that adds a touch of sophistication. The printed color, in addition to its softness, has a very pleasant feel, making the combination of both perfect for any project. The base fabric is very versatile and, due to its general characteristics, can be used for both decoration and fashion and accessories. Some of its most common applications and uses include upholstery for chairs, armchairs, and sofas, trousers, jackets, blazers, coats/vests, and bags or backpacks, among others.

Regarding care, it is important not to bleach the fabric and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. The garment is not suitable for dry cleaning, except by dry cleaning without trichloroethylene. It is also recommended to iron at a cool temperature and not to tumble dry.

In the printing process of this fabric, sublimation technology (polyester) is used. This process involves transferring an image through heat and pressure to deposit inks into the fiber line of the fabric. The result is a defined image with good sharpness, no plasticized effect, and long durability.
