The base fabric is Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. Its grammage is 280 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. The solid color printed is copper penny orange, with a CMYK of 23 44 48 12. The secondary color is warm and vibrant, evoking the energy and vitality of fire. It combines well with earthy tones, greens, and creams. The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing.
Velvety Corduroy - Dublin is a soft and shiny fabric to the touch and sight. The printed solid color accentuates its texture and shine. The fabric is versatile and durable, ideal for upholstery and home decoration, as well as for making garments and accessories. Applications and uses range from chairs and sofas to jackets, blazers, and bags.
To maintain Velvety Corduroy - Dublin and its printed solid color in good condition, it is important to avoid bleaching and not dry clean. A maximum temperature of 30ºC is recommended for washing and cold ironing. It allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture Velvety Corduroy - Dublin is sublimation (polyester). This process consists of printing with special inks on transfer paper, and then transferring the printed image to the fabric using heat and pressure. Sublimation allows obtaining bright and durable colors on synthetic fabrics such as polyester, without deteriorating their quality or texture.
